LDFF2020 Films now available for streaming on Kinoscope

JOIN US AND THE LONG DISTANCE FILM FESTIVAL 2020 FESTIVAL SPONSOR KINOSCOPE IN CELEBRATING THE OFFICIAL RELEASE OF LAST YEAR’S AWARD-WINNERS, NOW AVAILABLE ON KINOSCOPE.ORG!

These films were selected by you, the audience of last year’s festival, and the industry professionals that comprised our prestigious jury—Leo Soesante, Steve Holmgrem, and Setu Raval. We’re grateful that, thanks to Kinoscope, they are available to watch online for the foreseeable future. See the awards announcement here for more information.

The nine selected short films, alongside our special feature presentation Ghost of the Golden Groves, now share a space with other highly-regarded international short films and will earn their filmmakers royalties. They will be available to watch free of charge starting today January 8th through January 10th.

We are glad to finally be able to grant the kind of exposure that these works of art deserve and hope to continue to live up to the high standards we set for ourselves and our artists. These films epitomize the kind of film work that we at Long Distance Film Festival aim to showcase, and we hope that you share our vision for future editions.

Make sure to also keep an eye out for the other kinds of rare and overlooked art that Kinoscope generally curates for its audience. We also encourage you to support all of the filmmakers from our first festival by checking out the projects that they’ve been working on in recent months!

Do not forget to submit your film to this year’s edition of the festival! Submit here.

Long Distance Film Festival’s 2021 edition will open on May 27th-31st. Make sure to keep in touch by following our social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram.
